Then this invitation is for you.
Are you a nature enthusiast without current employment or fresh out of school and eager for new opportunities? Do you like being in the outdoors? If this describes you, apply for one of our 10, fully paid, year-long learnerships. On completion of the course, you will gain a National Certificate in Nature Conservation: Resource Guardianship (NQF 2), which will open doors to further entry-level reserve jobs.
The learnership also comes with a monthly stipend of R3 500. Successful candidates will be stationed at a Western Cape conservation site, preferably within the Cape Metropol.

The certificate is equivalent to a Grade 10 qualification and will open doors to entry-level reserve jobs.
You will learn how to:
• Conserve biodiversity on your current reserve or conservation areas.
• Monitor and remove invasive vegetation.
• Assist with tasks such as fire management, rehabilitation, infrastructure maintenance, fauna and flora monitoring, plant propagation and administrative duties.

You will be expected to:
• Commit to the 12-month learning programme.
• Allocate six weeks for in-person training over those 12 months.
• Attend training and learner-support sessions; and
• Complete assignments related to practical experiences on reserves timeously.
To qualify, you must:
